My AI Policy

I want readers to know how I create my books. This page sets out how I use artificial intelligence (AI) in my writing and publishing, and what I expect of the people and companies I work with.

My Writing is AI-ASSISTED

• I write every word of my books.
• I use AI tools for research and brainstorming to ensure Scottish forensic, police and court procedurals are correct, and I check everything they tell me against reliable sources.
• I use Grammarly and human review for grammar and spell-checking.
• For illustrations and translation, I use Google 365 tools and programs.
• My cover design was purchased from TellWell Publications, and I use NCH Photo Editor for variations.
• My audiobook narration is purchased from ElevenLabs.
• And I do sometimes use Zeely AI to help with marketing copy.

My books may not be used to train AI models without my permission and fair payment

Commitment
