Meet Viktoria King: Where Crime, Mystery, and Justice Shape Every Story
My Story
With a background in nursing in Australia and a successful international career in clinical governance, incident investigation, risk management, and quality control across various healthcare settings, including emergency departments and ambulance services, my primary writing focus is a series of crime novels.
Now retired to a beach community south of the capital city, I continue to create compelling stories for the Procurator Fiscal series.
Personal Life
Nursing was not a desire but a necessity. I needed sponsorship to complete my education and nursing was the only one that stepped up.
But nursing was good to me: after the bedside and theatre it led me onto health information development where I got to use my pen-skills writing audits and procedure documents. Then onto risk assessment, incident investigations and compliance.
And that led me overseas to expand my expertise in Singapore, the UK and North America: working in emergency services, community provision and national health emergency planning.
